We are enormously pleased that our destination has received the international award for sustainable tourism. It acknowledges our daily efforts towards achieving a liveable future. Green Destinations is a certification body recognised by the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), which has been setting the world’s leading standards for sustainable travel and tourism since 2007. The GSTC was founded, among others, by major organisations such as the UNWTO, the Rainforest Alliance and the United Nations Foundation. Our sustainability performance was independently assessed by Green Destinations and shows you, as a visitor, that our commitment is visible and measurable – and that you are taking your holiday in a destination that cares about the future. Through the GSTC certification we have also achieved the South Tyrol Sustainability Label Level 3, which means that we are committed to sustainable development at the highest level.
